HANOVER, N.H. - Columbia edged Dartmouth, 4-3, to improve to 2-0.
The Big Green (4-10, 0-1 Ivy League) took the first two double spots for a 1-0 lead entering singles.
Columbia and Dartmouth split the first four completed singles matches, giving the Big Green a 3-2 advantage.
However, Lauren Shearer won in straight sets at No. 6 and Milena Kachar posted a 7-6, 7-5 triumph in the afternoon's final match to finish.
The Lions (10-5, 2-0 Ivy League) take on three-time defending League champion Harvard Saturday, April 8 at noon in Cambridge, Mass.
