Lions Open Spring Play This Weekend in Savannah, Ga.

Lions to compete at the 19-team, 54-hole Invitational at Savannah Harbor event for the second straight season.
SAVANNAH, Ga.—The Columbia Men's Golf team opens its spring 2020 season this weekend at the 54-hole Invitational at Savannah Harbor, Saturday and Sunday at The Club at Savannah Harbor. The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. Live results are available throughout the weekend on Golfstat at this link.
Nineteen teams will compete at the event, which is hosted by William & Mary. Those teams include Bethune-Cookman, Bradley, Brown, Columbia, Delaware, Fairleigh Dickinson, Florida A&M, Francis Marion, Iona, IUPUI, Longwood, Navy, Northern Kentucky, Savannah State, Saint Joseph's, Valparaiso, Western Carolina, William & Mary, and Wright State.
The Club at Savannah Harbor is a par-72, 6,918-yard course. The teams will have a shotgun start on both Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m.
Columbia is competing at the event for the second consecutive year. Scheduled to compete for Columbia is senior Nick Brisebois, junior John Robertson, sophomore Daniel Core, and first-years Alvin Kwak and Nathan Han.
Columbia Men's Golf enjoyed a successful Fall 2019 season as it captured two team championships and one individual title. In addition, the Lions had three golfers place among the top-5 and eight golfers place among the top-10 at various competitions. Fall statistics are available at this link.
