NEW YORK – Columbia cruised to a 4-0 sweep of Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon at the Philip and Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center. The Lions are now 9-7 overall and 3-1 in the Ivy League.
 
The Lions dominated the doubles slate to quickly take the doubles point. The duo of Anna Zhang and Sophia Wang posted a 6-1 win over Brooke Hess and Katie Weber in the No. 1 spot. Winta Tewolde and Michelle Xu rolled to a 6-0 win against Ujvala Jupalli and Ashley Hess in the No. 3 doubles.
 
Rachele Rimondini and Shivani Amineni teamed up at the No. 2 spot. Their match went unfinished as they led Emily Zhou and Lexi Dewire, 4-3 when the doubles point was clinched.
 
Columbia took three-straight singles matches to finish off the 4-0 sweep. Rimondini earned the first singles win of the afternoon with a 6-0, 6-0 win against Weber in the No. 4 singles. Zhang followed that up with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Chidimma Okpara at the No. 1 spot.
 
Needing just one win to clinch, Clarine Lerby finished off a 6-2, 6-3 win against Jupalli at the No. 5 singles to clinch the win for Columbia.

The Lions are at home for the final time this season Sunday when they host No. 72 Harvard for senior day. Columbia's three seniors: Sophie Raiszadeh, Shivani Amineni, and Michelle Xu will be honored at the match. There will also be free pizza for fans.
