Biography

2018: Played in 24 games and made 18 starts … Came up with 13 hits in 56 at-bats, including two doubles and two home run … Hit .232 and slugged .375 … Scored 10 runs and drove in 11 … Carried a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on 20 chances … Had a double, a run and two RBIs in a 7-1 win over Colgate at the UC Riverside Classic (March 11) … Went 4-fo-8 in the Penn series, including two-hit performances in games 1 and 3 with two runs and two RBIs (March 17-18) … Collected two RBIs in an 8-2 victory over Yale (March 24) … Went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in an 11-10 victory over Fairfield (March 28) … Hit a game-tying home run in the final game of the series against Harvard (April 7).

2017: Played in 24 games and made 18 starts, including 16 of the first 17 games before suffering an injury … NFCA Scholar-Athlete ... Started 13 games at shortstop and five games in the outfield … Hit three doubles and one home run, totaling four runs scored and six RBIs … Recorded a career-high six putouts in the season opener against Army (Feb. 24) … Went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs as part of a 7-6 victory over North Dakota State (March 11) … Slugged a pinch-hit, two-run home run in the seventh inning of game one against Princeton (April 21).

2016: Played in 40 games, starting in 36 … named honorable mention All-Ivy League … earned a spot on the Ivy League weekly honor roll on April 5 … posted five multi-hit games … earned first career home run in walk-off fashion against Yale on April 1 to give Columbia its first Ivy League win of the season … finished the year with three doubles, three home runs and seven RBI while adding three stolen bases, three sacrifice bunts and 13 walks … finished the year with a walk-off infield single in the final game of the season against Penn on April 30.

Personal: Part of the State Champion team in 2013, while becoming a 2014 honorable mention honoree to the All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu ... Plans on studying biochemistry ... Family includes her parents, Nathan and Annette Wong, and two younger siblings, Scott and Jenna.
