
Columbia Sabre Fencers Past and Present Clean Up at USFA National Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. – It was an all-Columbia final in the women's sabre competition at the U.S. Fencing Summer National Championships. In the end, Atlanta native Emily Jacobson '08CC defeated rising junior Sammy Roberts '12SEAS in the final to win the Division One Women's Sabre event on July 5.
Recent grad Daria Schneider '10CC finished fifth in the competition. Jacobson was seeded 10th entering the competition, while Roberts was the fourth seed.
The Summer National Championships will continue in Atlanta until July 13. Updated results can be found online at the US Fencing official website.
