Student Athlete Advisory Council

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) serves as a conduit of communication among student-athletes, coaches, and athletic administrators on issues to improve the student-athlete experience.  As a student-led organization, we vote on NCAA legislation, organize community events, raise money for philanthropic organizations increasing involvement in the broader NYC community, and work with Columbia Athletics to further enhance athletic and academic performance.

SAAC representatives communicate initiatives and events discussed in meetings to their respective teams. All varsity student-athletes are welcome to join SAAC. If you are interested, please stop by at one of our upcoming meetings. Meetings are every Monday night at 8 p.m. Please contact an e-board member or your SAAC rep for a detailed schedule.

Columbia's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee wants to hear from you!

We want to know how we can improve on that performance this year. Whether that means more support academically, athletically, medically or nutritionally. Each individual faces a set of unique challenges competing in D1 athletics at the highest level. Tell us how, as your SAAC representatives, we can best advocate on your behalf.
