Student Athlete Advisory Council
Leading with Purpose, Competing with Pride
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) serves as a conduit of communication among student-athletes, coaches, and athletic administrators on issues to improve the student-athlete experience. As a student-led organization, we vote on NCAA legislation, organize community events benefiting the Columbia and broader NYC communities, and work with Columbia Athletics to further enhance the student-athlete experience.
SAAC representatives are responsible for communicating initiatives and events discussed in meetings to their respective teams. Varsity student-athletes are eligible to serve as SAAC representatives, with selections made by each team's head coach.
