
Lions Squash Puts the League on Notice at Ivy Scrimmages

New Haven, Conn. — Men's squash earned the top prize at Ivy Scrimmages in first place and the women finished fifth at the preseason Ivy tournament hosted by Yale.
The men's team took down Cornell 9-0 in the first match, and then went on to beat Yale 6-3 to advance to the championship.
The Lions defeated Harvard 5-4 in the final match to claim the top spot.

The women's squad fell to Princeton in its opening match 6-3 but then went on to beat Dartmouth in the consolation semi-finals 6-3.
The Lions came back on Sunday and defeated Cornell 7-2 to earn a fifth place finish.
Columbia will host NYU at SL Green StreetSquash in its opening match on Friday at 1 p.m.
