NEW HAVEN, CONN. - The No. 6 Columbia Lions will head to Connecticut this weekend to take on No. 5 Stanford and No. 14 George Washington on Saturday and Sunday. The Lions had the previous weekend off from competition and used the break to train for the second half of the season.

After victories over Dartmouth, Cornell and Virginia in the past few weeks, Columbia jumped to No. 6 in the latest College Squash rankings.

SCOUTING THE COMPETITION

Columbia fell to Stanford 7-2 last season and are 1-3 against the Cardinals all-time. The latest victory came on January 16, 2015, which the Lions won, 5-4. Addie Fulton is the only one on the current team that won her match in the win.

The Lions are 5-2 against George Washington, including a 8-1 victory over the Colonials last season.

LOOKING AHEAD

Columbia returns to Ivy League play next weekend as they will head back to Yale on Saturday and then trip to Brown on Sunday.
