Philadelphia, P.A. — No. 6 women's squash defeated Penn for the first time in program history today, 5-4.
With the match tied at 4-4, first-year Habiba Mohamed won her match 3-0 and 11-7 in the third to clinch the Columbia win.
Jui Kalgutkar, Doria Chen, Addie Fulton and Diana Masch made up the other four Columbia wins. This was senior Addie Fulton's last regular season match and she made it count coming back from a set down to win three straight sets and win her match in four.
This is a huge win for Columbia as the Lions will find out their seed this week for the upcoming CSA Team Nationals, which will be held at Harvard next weekend.
