BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A total of seven members from the Columbia wrestling team picked up EIWA All-Academic honors, announced today by the EIWA.

Seniors Andrew Psomas, Garrett Ryan, and Markus Scheidel, along with sophomores Michael Bulking and Laurence Kosoy, and first-year's Spencer Good and Chris Scorese were named to the list after their efforts in the classroom and on the mat. To qualify for the Academic Achievement Award, the individual must have competed at the EIWA Championships, and have maintained a GPA of over 3.0.

Scheidel and Ryan claimed first and fourth place in their respective weight classes, and went on to qualify for the NCAA Championships, along with senior Tyrel White, for the fourth consecutive season. Those three, along with seven other seniors, took part in the 264th Columbia Commencement, yesterday on campus.
