Ivy League Sticks Tapé With Player of the Week Honors

Tapé averaged 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in a 2-0 week for the Lions
PRINCETON, N.J. – After helping the Columbia men's basketball team to a road sweep at Brown and Yale, junior Patrick Tapé was selected Ivy League Player of the Week on Monday. Tapé becomes the second Lion to earn the honor this season, joining Gabe Stefanini, who did so on January 28.
The 6-10 forward posted back-to-back 16-point games, shot 12-of-16 from the floor (75.0 percent). Against the Bears, he also pulled down seven rebounds and was 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Tapé chipped in six boards, three assists and a pair of blocks to help Columbia end a seven-game losing streak against the Bulldogs.
Tapé's overall field goal percentage of 66.1 percent is currently the second highest single-season total in program history.
Quinton Adlesh earned a spot on the Ivy League Weekly Honor Roll after posting averages of 14.0 points, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals in the two games.
