NEW YORK - The Columbia men's basketball team has two road games slated for this weekend, taking on Harvard on Friday, February 18 before making its way to Dartmouth on Saturday, February 19. Both games are slated for 7 p.m. starts on ESPN+.

• Head coach Jim Engles announced this week that senior Maka Ellis has been name a captain for the remainder of the season.
• Columbia will look to snap an eight-game losing streak this weekend.
• Next week, the Lions wrap up their road slate at Brown on Saturday, February 26.

HARVARD'S STATUS
The Crimson have dropped three-straight by a combined 14 points (4.7-point margin of defeat). Noah Kirkwood paces the offense, averaging 17.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Harvard has been without the services of second-leading scorer Chris Ledlum (16.7 PPG) due to injury for over a month.
INSIDE THE SERIES - HARVARD
Columbia leads the all-time series, 98-87, but has dropped the last six contests. Three of the last five meetings have being decided by a combined 25 points required overtime. The Crimson topped the Lions, 91-82, on Jan. 15 at Schiller Court.
DARTMOUTH'S STATUS
The Big Green will be in search of their first win since a 76-63 win over the Lions on Jan. 29. Brendan Barry is one of two players averaging in double-figures, scoring 14.7 PPG on 40.2 percent from 3-point range. Aaryn Rai, who had a big game in New York against Columbia, is posting 11.4 points and 6.8 boards.
INSIDE THE SERIES - DARTMOUTH
Columbia is 114-105 all-time against Dartmouth, but the Big Green earned a series sweep in 2020 and have now won three in a row.
