LAS VEGAS — With podium finishes at the 2022 USMC US Open,
Aaron Ayzerov and
Joshua Ogunsanya each qualified for the US Wrestling World Team Trials, thanks to Ayzerov's sixth-place finish in the U20 Division and Ogunsanya's seventh-place finish in the Senior Division at the US Open which was competed from April 27-May 1 at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa.

Both Ayzerov and Ogunsanya earned a spot at the World Team Trials, that are set to be competed from May 21-22 in Coralville, Iowa.Â

Ayzerov began his tournament winning his first three bouts, and he earned six wins on his way to the podium. Ogunsanya snagged himself four wins and he finished his competition off with a 14-4 win over Evan Delon (Clarion RTC).
