Columbus, OH -- The #27 Columbia men's tennis program saw its 2022 season come to a close at the hands of #3 Ohio State, 4-0, in the Second Round of the NCAA Championship Tournament. The Lions wrap this year's campaign with a 15-9 overall record and ranked victories over then-#19 Northwestern, #21 UNC, and #63 Penn State.
Columbia won its way to the Second Round via a First Round victory over #33 Notre Dame, 4-2.
Nationally ranked sophomore
Alex Kotzen's season will continue in the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship. Currently ranking #22, Kotzen ranked as high as #7 this season, remaining in the top 25 every week. The unanimous First Team All-Ivy honoree was the highest ranking Ivy League competitor the entirety of the spring season.
