"We battled hard tonight," Andrew F. Barth Head Coach of Wrestling Donny Pritzlaff said. "Lots of positive things to build on and get better for the rest of the year. Bonus points are the key to championship teams and tonight we scored a lot but unfortunately not enough. We will evaluate our performance and improve."

Fedalen and Rossetti then posted back-to-back decision victories. Fedalen used an early takedown to take the lead over Aidan Torres in the 149 bout. Fedalen didn't look back as he took a 9-5 decision to improve to 3-0 in duals this season. Rossetti trailed for most of the 157 bout against Ryan Garvick. However, a third-period takedown leveled the score and Rossetti capitalized on riding time to escape with a 5-4 decision.
