Wrestling Prepares for CKLV Invite

Columbia will send eight wrestlers to compete in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS – Eight members of the Columbia wrestling squad will travel to Las Vegas this weekend to compete at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite starting Friday.

This weekend's action will be available for streaming through FloWrestling. Brackets and live results can be found on FloArena.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Action will begin Friday at the Las Vegas Convention Center with competition divided into four sessions over two days. Each day will consist of a morning and evening session. The schedule is listed below with times listed in Eastern.
Friday, December 6
Session I (12 p.m.)
- Championship Pig Tails, Round of 32, Round of 16
- Consolation Round of 32, Round of 16 #1, Round of 16 #2
Session II (9 p.m.)
- Championship Quarterfinals
- Consolation Round of 8 #1, Round of 8 #2
Saturday, December 7
Session III (1 p.m.)
- Championship Semifinals
- Consolation Semifinals, 5th and 7th Place Matches
Session IV (6 p.m.)
- Championship Finals
- Consolation Finals
THE CLIFF KEEN LAS VEGAS INVITATIONAL
Columbia will compete against a field that includes some of the top talent in college wrestling with 14 ranked teams participating in the 30-team field. The Lions will compete alongside Appalachian State, Arizona State, Binghamton, California Baptist, Cal Poly, CSU Bakersfield, Cornell, Harvard, Hofstra, Iowa State, Michigan, Nebraska, NC State, Navy, Northwestern, Ohio State, Ohio, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Purdue, Rider, Sacred Heart, South Dakota State, Stanford, Northern Iowa, Utah Valley, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wyoming.
LIONS IN THE FIELD
Sulayman Bah (125), Kai Owen (141), Richard Fedalen (149), Dominic Rossetti (157), Cesar Alvan (165), Jack McGill (174), Joe Curtis (184) and Vincent Mueller (285) will represent Columbia in Las Vegas this weekend.
Columbia is back in action for the first time since competing at the Black Knight Invite where the Lions finished in fourth place as a team. Bah, Fedalen, Alvan, McGill and Mueller all earned spots on the podium at the Black Knight Invite and will look to build on that success when competing in Las Vegas this weekend.
