Miles Franklin Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week

Franklin made an immediate impact in his collegiate debut last Friday
PRINCETON, N.J. — Columbia first-year Miles Franklin has been tabbed Ivy League Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Franklin impressed in his collegiate debut on Friday in Columbia's season-opening 71-53 win at New Haven. The Vienna, Virginia native came off the bench and in 18 minutes of action tallied 13 points on 5-5 shooting from the floor.
Franklin knocked down two three-pointers and recorded three rebounds, two blocks, and a steal against the Chargers.
Columbia visits No. 4 UConn on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Gampel Pavilion. The game will be televised on FS1.
