
Men’s Tennis Announces 2026 Schedule

Lions will play 12 teams that advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament
NEW YORK – Bidyut K. Goswami Head Coach of Men's Tennis Howard Endelman announced Columbia's 2026 schedule on Friday morning. The schedule includes 12 home dates, including three against Ivy League foes.
The Lions are coming off back-to-back NCAA quarterfinal appearances and will look to challenge themselves once again. The 2026 schedule includes 14 dates against teams that finished the 2025 season ranked in the ITA Top-75 poll, including 12 matches against teams that advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Columbia opens the spring season on January 16 with a home date against Bucknell at the Philip & Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center. On January 18, the Lions host South Carolina, which finished 2025 ranked No. 13.
Columbia will host Florida, Kentucky, and Illinois for the ITA Kickoff on January 23 and 24. Florida and Kentucky begin the tournament on the 23rd at 11 a.m., with the Lions battling Illinois at 3 p.m. On Saturday, the consolation match will start at 11 a.m. with the championship match slated for a 3 p.m. first serve.
The Lions wrap up January and open February with three-straight road contests against ACC and Big Ten foes. Columbia begins the stretch in Charlottesville, Va., taking on Virginia on January 30. On February 1, they travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., to take on the Tar Heels. Columbia wraps up the stretch at Michigan on February 7.
Should the Lions qualify, they will then participate in the ITA National Indoor Championships from February 13-17. Columbia finishes February at home with dates against Delaware (February 25) and Pepperdine (February 27).
March begins with the Lions playing a doubleheader against Quinnipiac and Fordham on March 7, with times to be determined. Columbia will once again be tested on their final non-conference road trip. The Lions begin the trip out west against Arizona in Tucson on March 17. They wrap up the west coast swing with a date against San Diego on March 21.
Columbia wraps up its non-conference slate with a home date on March 28, with the opponent to be determined. The Lions begin Ivy League play with three straight road contests, starting in Providence, R.I., against Brown on April 4. The Lions will then travel to New Haven, Conn., to take on the Bulldogs on April 5. Columbia wraps up the road trip on April 10 in Philadelphia against Penn.
The Lions will play their final three home contests on April 11, April 18 and April 19, taking on Princeton, Harvard and Dartmouth, respectively. They close out the regular season against Cornell in Ithaca on April 25.
