Franklin averaged 10 points per game on the week
PRINCETON, N.J. — Columbia men's basketball first-year Miles Franklin has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Franklin scored 14 points and six points this week in wins over Hofstra and UAlbany, respectively. The Vienna, Virginia native sealed the 72-70 win over the Pride last Wednesday, hopping through the paint to lay in a key basket with 20 seconds left.
Franklin was a combined 8-20 from the field on the week and averaged five rebounds per game.
Columbia has won eight straight games and visits Stony Brook on Tuesday at 7 p.m. from Stony Brook Arena. The game will be aired on FloSports and SNY.
