Men’s tennis senior takes on No. 32 Corentin Moutet
MELBOURNE – Columbia men's tennis senior Michael Zheng continues his run in the Australian Open when he meets Corentin Moutet of France. Zheng and Moutet are scheduled to begin play at 10:30 p.m. on Court 6.
Zheng, the two-time national champion, earned his first-ever Grand Slam singles victory when he upset fellow American Sebastian Korda in five sets, 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 6-7(7), 6-3 in the opening round of the Australian Open last Saturday.
Moutet, who is currently ranked No. 37 in the most recent ATP rankings, advanced to the second round after defeating Australian Tristan Schoolkate, 6-4, 7-6(1), 6-3.
The Australian Open main draw will be primarily televised in the U.S. on ESPN and ESPN2, with extensive live streaming on ESPN+ for all courts.
