2020-21 (Junior): Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20: Did not compete (Greyshirt).

2018-19 (Sophomore): Cracked the starting lineup, wrestling the majority of Columbia's matches at 184 pounds (27 total matches) ... Finished 12-15, 4-4 EIW; 2-2 Ivy League ... Went 3-4 during fall tournament action, wrestling fall matches at 197 pounds ... Won first match of the season with a 10-0 majority decision at 197 pounds over Old Dominion's William Baldwin at the Princeton Open (Nov. 4) ...  Snagged a sudden victory 3-1 win over teammate Michael Bulkin at Princeton Open ... Collected 6-3 win over Tom Lane from Cal-Poly at the Black Knight Invite (Nov. 18) ... Opened dual-match season with a 8-3 win over VMI's Max Gallahan on Dec. 8 ... Got a 6-4 (SV-1) win over Trey Rogers of Hofstra for first EIWA win of the season on Feb. 2 ... Ripped off three consecutive EIWA wins, starting with win over Rogers, taking down Sacred Hearts' Kyle Davis (7-4) on Feb. 3 and Penn's Robert Ng (7-1 [SV-1]) on Feb. 9 ... Won two matches at the EIWA Championships, taking down Princeton's Kevin Parker (11-9) on Mar. 8 and Navy's Anthony Cable (3-1 [SV-1]) later the same day (Mar. 8).

2017-18 (First-Year): Went 4-4 overall and 1-0 in duals during his first season on the mat.

Personal: Wrestled for four years at Paramus High School in New Jersey ... Finished third at the New Jersey State Championships in the 195-pound bracket as a senior ... Picked up all-league, all-county, and all-state honors his final season, and all-league and all-county honors as a junior ... Also wrestled for the Apex Wrestling Club ... A two-time first team all-league football player, and a former baseball player in the Little League World Series ... The son of Tara and Robert Bonino ... Plans on studying economics at Columbia College.
