Biography
2019-20 (Senior): Posted a 10-8 record on the season ... Went 9-7 at the number four spot ... Had a six match winning streak from Nov. 24-Jan. 16 ... During six match winning streak, took a five-set match over No. 12 Brown's Danielle Benstock (12-10, 4-11, 9-11, 11-6, 11-6) on Jan. 11 ... Snagged a five-set win over No. 5 Penn's Ashley Manning (12-10, 9-11, 11-9, 7-11, 12-10) at the CSA Team National Championships (Feb. 21-23) ... Knocked off Stanford's Amita Gondi (7-11, 8-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11-7) in the Round of 16 of the Holleran East bracket at the CSA Individual National Championships (Mar. 6-8).
2018-19 (Junior):  Was a contributor to the Lion's ladder this year and served consistently in the middle of the lineup... claimed a win to start the season against Williams 3-1 (Nov. 30)... earned first Ivy win of the season 3-0 against Cornell (Dec. 2)...Pulled ahead of Julia Buchholz of Penn 3-0 in the final home match of the season (Feb. 2)
2017-18 (Sophomore):Â Went 8-8 overall in her sophomore campaign and 4-3 in the Ivy League... Competed primarily in the No. 4 position... Posted a dominant win against Franklin & Marshall (Nov. 19)... Grabbed a decisive win against Ivy League foe Brown (Feb. 4)... Picked up a win against Cornell in the CSA Team Championships (Feb. 18)... Competed in the CSA Individual Championships in the Holleran East B Draw... Grabbed a first round win in the CSA Individual Championships before falling to teammate Maddie O'Connor (Mar. 2).
2016-17 (First-Year):Â Only first-year to play every match for Columbia...went 6-10 in her rookie season including 2-4 tally in Ivy League play...Competed in the No. 3 position...Picked up first collegiate victory over Drexel's Fiona Power...Won Ivy League matches against Brown and Dartmouth.Â
Prior To Columbia: Kalgutkar was once ranked No. 1 in India in the 15-17 girls age group, boasting a victory of the Junior/Sub Junior National Squash Championships in 2012, competing for the Indian National team six years in a row (2011-2016), and a sixth-place finish at the Asian Junior Squash Championships in 2015. A phenomenal talent, Kalgutkar was also selected to represent the Indian Squash team at the 2016 Asian Juniors and at both the 2015 and 2016 World Junior Squash Championships.
