Biography
2016-17: Went 1-6 at No. 9 spot in freshman season...Made collegiate debut at Harvard (2/4)...Picked up first college win against Dartmouth's Madeline Fraser in the No. 9 spot (4-11, 7-11, 11-6, 11-2, 11-5).
Prior To Columbia: A three-sport athlete, Horwitz was dynamic contributor to The Baldwin School's varsity squash team. In 2015 she helped lead the Polar Bears to capture their first High School National Championship by winning the deciding match at the No. 4 position. Horwitz was also a part of four Mid-Atlantic Squash Association (MASAS) Championships by the team (2012, 2013, 2014, 2016), which lead to All-MASA first team honors in her junior and senior seasons.
Just as stellar off the court, Horwitz is a four-time US Squash Scholar Athlete Award recipient and All Inter-Academic Squash Second Team recipient. She was also named a National Merit Scholarship Corporation Commended Scholar.
