Office of Athletics Communications

The Office of Athletics Communications is the media hub for all 31 of Columbia's intercollegiate sports. The Athletics Communications team coordinates interviews, conducts press conferences, produces all departmental publications, creates content including written releases, bios, graphics and video, compiles statistics, manages photography and video, posts recaps and previews of all sports, promotes student-athletes for awards, oversees social media pages from a news perspective and maintains the official website of Columbia University Athletics, gocolumbialions.com.

The Athletics Communications office also coordinates all game day media services and works with state, regional and national media to promote Columbia University Athletics.

INTERVIEWS
All interviews with Columbia student-athletes or any athletics staff member must be arranged through the Office of Athletics Communications. Please contact the appropriate sports lead in the Office of Athletics Communications at least 48 hours in advance to schedule interviews with student-athletes or coaches.

Student-athletes are not available on game days until post-game. Columbia locker rooms are closed to the media. Please contact an Athletics Communications/Media Relations staff member to arrange post-game interviews.

CREDENTIAL REQUESTS
Requests for credentials (press, radio, television, scouting) should be received by the Office of Athletics Communications at least one week in advance for football and three days in advance of all men's and women's basketball games.

Credentials will be mailed no later than the Monday before the scheduled contest. Late requests will be handled according to space limitations. Football credentials requested after the mailing date will be left at the Will-Call window.

PARKING
Please note that parking at Baker Athletics Complex and on the Columbia Morningside Heights campus is SEVERELY LIMITED. Parking requests must be submitted with credential inquiries, however, parking is not guaranteed.

Media parking passes will be distributed in the following order:
1. Television Broadcasters
2. Professional media (newspaper/radio/TV).
3. Photographers
4. Student media
