PRINCETON, N.J. - Grace Coyle placed second in the three-meter diving as Columbia finished sixth of eight teams at the Ivy League Championships at Princeton's DeNunzio Pool. Harvard won the meet with a total of 1615; the Lions totaled 746.

Coyle's 11-dive total of 465.25 finished just 16.4 points behind the winner from Yale. For her finish, Coyle earns second-team All-Ivy honors. Fellow senior Teresa Herrmann took sixth in the event with a score of 431.55 and first-year Juliet DiFrancisco was 15th with a total of 371.25.

For the second time in the three-day meet, both Amy Krakauer and Lauren Morford finished in the top eight of their respective events. Krakauer was fifth in a breaststroke event for the second time - today in the 200-yard in 2:19.08 - and Lauren Morford took seventh in the 1650 free in 17:05.12. Kathryn Taylor was 19th in the 1650. In the 200 breast, junior Susannah Knox was 12th overall in 2:33.90. Evangeline Geskos (18th) and Kathryn Alexander (20th) also scored in the event.

In the 100 free, Mary McCue won the consolation heat to take ninth overall in 51.69. Kate Head was 18th. Kelly McConnell also had a top-10 finish. The sophomore swam 2:05.82 for 10th in the 200 back. Gretchen Plank was 19th and Lauren Belive 20th.

In the consolation heat of the 200 fly, Sarah Fisher (15th, 2:08.07) and Lisa Rohrs (16th 2:13.40) took the final two spots. Kaki Dudley was 23rd.
