Columbia track and field sent four student-athletes to the elite Stanford Invitational and came away with two fifth place finishes, four school records and four NCAA qualifying times.

Caroline Bierbaum placed fifth in the 10,000m with a time of 33:20.11, setting a school record by over a minute. The time is the third best by a collegian this season (the event allowed non-collegian entrants) and is an automatic NCAA qualifying time.

Senior Delilah DiCrescenzo took fifth in the 5000m, also setting a school record with her 16:17.65. DiCrescenzo's is good for regional qualification for the NCAA Championships.

Lisa Stublic placed 22nd in the 10,000m with a time of 34:29.33, also breaking the previous school record in the event. The time provisionally qualifies her for the NCAA Championships and is one of the 20 best times by a collegian this season.

Karl Dusen represented the men's team well by provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 10,000m. The senior ran a 29:00.40, missing the automatic qualifying time by just .40 seconds, though his time should prove good enough to reach the championships.
