NEW YORK, N.Y. - Head coach Monica Holmes announced the four members of her incoming first-year class. The recruiting class features size and will add depth to the current volleyball roster.
Ashley Kim is a 5-4 libero from Honolulu, Hawaii. She will add stability to the floor defense and the team's serve and pass game when she joins the team after graduating from the Punahou School.
Kelly Russell is a 6-0 middle hitter from Troy High School in Anaheim Hills, Calif. Russell played for a very competitive club team (TCA Club) and will bring size and depth to the middle.
Sandra Sears is a 5-9 outside hitter from Mill Valley, Calif. She attended Marin Academy, played for the San Franciso Juniors and will help the team with her good hitting skills.
Amalia Viti is a 5-11 outside hitter from the Branson School in Ross, Calif. A natural athlete, Viti hits at a very high point and played for Empire Volleyball Club.
