BOSTON, MASS. -- Columbia ended a 42-day break between meets with a 136-107 triumph over defending America East champion Northeastern. The Lions improved to 4-3 with their second consecutive dual victory.

Columbia placed first in eight events in the hotly-contested meet. First-year Lisa Rohrs came from behind to win the 400-yard individual medley in 4:41.31.

Teresa Herrmann swept both diving events with a win in the one-meter (268.79) and the 3m (275.62). Grace Coyle was second in the 1m.

The Lions won three freestyle events. Mary McCue took first in the 50 with a time of 25.46, Kate Head won the 100 in 53.89 and Lauren Morford was fastest in the 500 in 5:07.33. Amy Krakauer had the Lions' other victory; she won the 200 breast in 2:24.96.

NOTE Tomorrow's meet with Bucknell (Sun., Jan 23) has been cancelled due to heavy snow in the New York City area.
