LEWISBURG, PA. - Seven different Lion swimmers and divers finished first in individual races to lead Columbia to a 168-130 triumph in the team's first-ever meeting with Bucknell. The Lions are now 6-1 and have won five consecutive meets.

Amy Krakauer swept both breaststroke events and Juliet DeFrancisco won both diving events to represent Columbia's only multiple event-winners in individual events. Krakauer swam 1:07.11 for the 100 breast and 2:23.98 for the 200, and DeFrancisco scored 219.22 on the one-meter board and 242.77 for the three-meter.

Columbia opened the meet with a triumph in the 200 medley relay. Lauren Fraley, Susannah Knox, Casey Weddle and Hannah Galey posted a time of 1:48.46 for a .54-second triumph. Galey would go on to win the 200 free in 1:54.86 and finish second in the 100 free.

Kathryn Taylor (17:19.01) and Lauren Morford (17:27.83) took the top two spots in the 1650 free. Columbia's other event-winners included Lisa Rohrs (2:06.80 in the 200 fly), Mary McCue (24.65 in the 50 free) and Rachel Coburn(2:11.83 in the 200 individual medley).

Columbia hosts a double-dual meet vs. Brown and Cornell on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 3:30 p.m.
