General Questions

What sports do Columbia Athletics ticket for?
Columbia Athletics ticket for Football and Men's and Women's Basketball games. Admission to all other regular season home athletic events are free of charge.

Are there different ticket prices for youth and adults?
Ticket pricing is the same for youth and adults; all children that have reached their second birthday are required to have a ticket for admission to a football or basketball contest. Children under two may sit on lap but are required to have a ticket to occupy their own seat.

Do I have to pay for a ticket if I am a Columbia student?
Admission is free for all full time Columbia University, Barnard College, and affiliated schools with a valid student identification. No hard tickets are necessary nor do you need to reserve them in advance, simply show up to the games with your ID to enter. Students that would like to take advantage of the free admission are required to sit in designated student sections. Students can also receive a discount on any additional tickets needed by purchasing tickets in advance at the ticket office with their valid Columbia/Barnard ID.

Is there a discount for Columbia Faculty/Staff members?
Yes, there is a discount for all Columbia Faculty/Staff members on individual and season ticket purchases. Faculty/Staff members must purchase their tickets by showing their Columbia ID in advance at the ticket office in order to receive the discount. The discount is not available for walk up purchase at the games.

Where is the ticket office located and how do I get there?
Our office is located inside the Dodge Physical Fitness Center on the Morningside Campus. Enter the campus at the main gates at 116th and Broadway. Once on campus, head in the uptown direction, walk around Low Library toward the lion statue. From there you will see steps heading down to the Dodge Fitness Center. When you enter the building, the Ticket and Membership window is immediately to the right.

Is disabled access seating available for football and basketball games?
We do have disabled access seating available for our football and basketball games. Please contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 888-LIONS-11 to arrange for disabled access seating.

Are food and beverages allowed in the stadium or gym during football and basketball games?
Fans are permitted to bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages into both Wien Stadium and Levien Gymnasium. Fans are prohibited from bringing alcohol into the Baker Athletics Complex and Dodge Physical Fitness Center.

Are ticket refunds available?
All ticket sales and purchases are final. If you are unable to attend a game, exchanges may be available should seats be available at the game that is being exchanged for. 

Are pets allowed? 
No dogs or other pets/animals are allowed at Levien Gymnasium or Baker Athletics Complex except for service animals that qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act. This is not limited to Lawrence A Wien Stadium, Satow Stadium, Columbia Softball Stadium, Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium, Columbia Field Hockey Stadium, the Philip and Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center and all other University buildings on site.

Where is the football stadium located?
Lawrence A. Wien Stadium is located at the Baker Athletics Complex on 218th Street in northern Manhattan. The entrance to the complex is through the Class of 1905 Gates located at West 218th Street and Park Terrace West. The address is 533 West 218th Street, New York, NY, 10034.

How do I get to Wien Stadium for Columbia football games using public transportation?
Public transportation is the quickest way to the Baker Athletics Complex for Columbia football contests. The 1-train and the A-train stop near the complex. Take the 1 train to the 215th Street stop, walk three blocks north to 218th Street and Broadway. Then head west on 218th and the entrance to Wien Stadium will be on your right. Or take the A train to the 207th Street stop and proceed north on Broadway to 218th Street.

How do I utilize the Free shuttle bus service Athletics provides to all fans?
For all home football games, the Columbia Athletic department provides free shuttle buses to and from the Baker Athletics Complex. Buses will depart from 116th and Broadway starting 2.5 hours prior to kickoff. The shuttles will run on a loop during pre-game, once full, departing from Broadway. The shuttles will begin bringing fans back to campus immediately following the conclusion of the game, departing from 218th and Broadway.

Is there any on-site parking available for football games?
For home football contests, parking is available as a benefit for qualified donors to Columbia Athletics. For those who wish to drive, below is a list of conveniently located private parking garages near the Baker Athletics Complex. Please note that this list of garages is intended for your reference only, and is not a recommendation by the University.

What is the Pre-game Picnic area on the concourse?
Athletics offers a pre-game picnic area for fans to enjoy music and picnic tables for gathering. Please note, there are a limited amount of picnic tables and are run on a first-come-first-serve basis. No outside alcohol is allowed onto the complex. You are allowed to bring in food, however all bags will be checked upon entry.

Where is will call located for football games?

Will call is located at windows 5 and 6 on the main stadium concourse.

How do I enter the gym for basketball games?
For men's and women's basketball games, the gym can be entered on 120th Street, just east of Broadway. Guests who already have their tickets can also enter through the Dodge Physical Fitness Center - enter campus at 116th Street and proceed in the uptown direction.

Is there any on-site parking available for basketball games?
There is no on-site parking for Columbia basketball contests.
