The Columbia Women’s Golf team uses Knickerbocker Country Club as is primary facility.
Knickerbocker Country Club is among a small group of local courses whose design is credited to legendary architect Donald J. Ross. Ross's work can be found along the East Coast from Rhode Island to Florida, and more national championships have been played on Ross-designed courses than any other.
Strategy and deceptive simplicity are at the core of Ross's work. Signature design features include putting surfaces that blend smoothly into the approaching fairway, thoughtful and efficient course routing that utilizes natural land contours, cross bunkers to capture the topped shot or create an illusion of distance, and greens that are especially difficult when played from above the hole.
Knickerbocker is a typical Ross design in another important way...it is a pleasure to play. The better golfer will find it a challenge to shoot a low score, while the average player will enjoy the fair, straight-forward style of golf of which Ross is a master.

Haworth, N.J. 07641
A hidden gem in Haworth, N.J. just 15 miles from Columbia's campus, the 18-hole private golf course at Haworth Country Club offers a picturesque 175-acre property featuring bent-grass greens, tees and fairways which provide some of the best conditioned playing surfaces in the Northeast. The course officially opened in 1965, but was redesigned by the legendary golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 2000. The course length is up to 7,000 yards and the modern design features classic traditional elements that provide a memorable round. Since then, Haworth has been selected to host several US Open & MET Open qualifying rounds in recent years.
In May 2017, the Columbia Golf Program added
Haworth Country Club as one of its home facilities. Haworth allows the Columbia men's and women's golf programs an additional practice venue as well as the opportunity to host annual collegiate tournaments, an alumni, friends and family tournament, along with golf camps.
