At Columbia: 41-14 in 2005-06 ... 12-6 in the Ivy League ... swept three bouts from Notre Dame and Ohio State in early-season action ... won nine matches to finish 16th at the 2006 IFA Championships ... finished 47th in foil at the 2006 North American Cup ... had outstanding first year, with most regular season wins among foilists ... 32-19 overall, 8-7 in the Ivy League in 2004-05 ... ended regular season with 12 straight wins ... had a record of 23-4 in the last nine matches of the season ... 11th at the IFA Championships ... 13th at NCAA Regionals. 

Outside Experience: 14th ranked junior in U.S. ... 34th in Senior Division ... placed seventh at the 2003 Junior World Cup in Louisville ... Fencers Club under Mikhail Petin.  At Bernards: Two-time women’s foil champion in 2003 and 2004 ... first team all-state (NJSIAA) and Newark Star-Ledger in both years ... New Jersey State Fencer of the Year 2004 ... led Bernards to 38-2 record, second place in state tournament ... second team all-state as a sophomore ... 115-1 in high school dual meets Bernards High Century Club, a prestigious volunteer organization.

Personal: English major ... father, Tom, CC ‘75, and mother Audrey, BC ‘75, both have Columbia ties ... father was on the 1976 and 1980 U.S. Olympic teams in Men’s Sabre ... Magda Strahl Losonczy, b. September 30, 1986 in New York City.
