Began eight match winning streak with a victory via fall at 3:43 over Buffalo's Noah Grover at the Black Knight Invite (Nov. 18) ... Wrapped up Black Knight Invite with a 6-4 (SV-1) victory over Aiden Monteverdi (Binghamton) ... Won the 165-pound title at the Mat Town Open (Nov. 25), taking down Nathan Thacker (Finger Lakes), 17-0, Lock Haven's Larry Brown, 6-0, and Virginia's Cameron Coy via fall at 4:05 ... 2016-17 (Freshman): Became the dual meet starter at 157 pounds during his first season, going 10-9 overall ... Helped the Lions to dual match victories against Hofstra and Bloomsburg.
Personal: A four-time state qualifier at Olympic Heights High School in Florida ... Won the state championship in 2016 at 170 pounds, finishing the season 53-1 overall with 44 pins ...
