Biography

2007-08: Started the season 11-5 before suffering a season-ending injury ... finished first at Mat Town Open after defeating Alex Krom (Maryland) 4-3 in the finals ... picked up wins against Glenn Shober (Navy) and Robert Sanders (Nebraska) at Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.

2006-07: Earned All-Ivy League second team honors after defeating Matt Easter (Cornell) 9-2 and Brett McCurdy (Penn) 6-3 in conference dual meets ... placed seventh at Midlands Open with a 6-2 record. 

2005-06: Exploded on the scene in second half of season, ultimately earning a trip to NCAA Championships at 141 ... won first seven bouts of collegiate career ... team’s rookie of the year ... went 11-6 overall and was named second team All-Ivy League ... had two wins over Penn’s highly-ranked first-year Cesar Grajales ... fourth place at Easterns was his ticket to NCAA’s. 

Lodi High: Four-year letterwinner ... twice lettered in football ... team captain as a junior and senior ... two-time Bergen County champion ... three-time regional champion ... earned two bronze medals in the New Jersey state tournament ... career record of 120-17 ... named Bergen Record Athlete of the Week after his 100th career win ... was a youth wrestling instructor during the summer ... plans to pursue a career in business.
