Arielle Robinson was named Columbia’s Assistant Director of Enrichment Services in 2020. She was promoted in July of 2022, adding a role in "Career Development" to her title and responsibilities. Additionally, Robinson is a part of Columbia's We Roar Together initiative, which is committed to providing the Columbia Athletics community and student-athletes with a diverse, inclusive, and socially equitable culture and experience. She also serves as co-chair of the Hiring, Retention and Engagement subcommittee.

Robinson, who has worked in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education for the past four years, will have new responsibilities focused on assisting the Success Though Well-Being team with all career development, academic, and well-being initiatives, providing individual career guidance to student-athletes, and working with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

"We are excited to have Arielle join our Success Through Well-Being team," Associate Athletics Director for Enrichment Services Jessica De Palo said. “Arielle is a natural fit for this position as she has previously supported many of our current and former student-athletes in her role as the Director of Recreation Operations/Assistant Director of Physical Education. In addition to hiring and managing many student-athletes for positions at the Dodge Physical Fitness Center, Arielle advised student-athletes on networking skills at our Columbia Athletics Industry Nights and organized student-athlete panels for members of our Columbia community. I am thrilled to have Arielle expand these skills on behalf of our student-athletes. I know that she will work tirelessly for our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and administrators.”

"I am thankful for the opportunity to continue to support our student-athletes in this role," Robinson said. " I am excited to support our Success Through Well-Being initiative, and I will work to support its mission of understanding, supporting, and empowering every student-athlete holistically, as a student, as a Division I athlete, and an individual person.”

Robinson arrived at Columbia in 2016 as its Assistant Director of Facility Operations. Among her many duties included supervising the recreation facility, managing some aspects of staff including the hiring, scheduling, training, supervising and payroll accounting, oversees Inventory, maintains upkeep of fitness equipment, and game day facility setup/breakdown for a variety of sports including women’s basketball, volleyball, wrestling and fencing.

Prior to beginning her position at Columbia, Robinson worked as the assistant recreation manager at Albert Einstein College of Medicine for one year after serving as a health fitness professional at Health Fitness Corporation for four years (2010-14). During that time, she was a basketball coach and director of operations at Mo’ Motion, Inc. in New York City, where she handled administrative duties and managed basketball workouts for youth ages 5-16. She also served as a personal trainer at L.A. Fitness.

Robinson graduated in 2009 from Temple University with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology and exercise science.
