Dominick Saldutti joined the Columbia University Athletics Sports Performance staff in September of 2025 as Assistant Director of Sports Performance.
Saldutti came to Columbia after two years as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Hofstra, where he worked with women’s basketball, baseball, volleyball, and women’s golf, overseeing daily training, data analysis, and nutrition education. He also served as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Long Island University and held positions at St. Francis College, St. John’s University, and Iona College, working with multiple championship teams.
In addition to his collegiate roles, Saldutti trained athletes of all ages at the Professional Athletic Performance Center from 2017–24 and has taught exercise science courses as an adjunct professor at Hofstra and LIU Brooklyn. His research on athlete monitoring in women’s basketball was published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research in April 2025.
A native of Roslyn Heights, New York, Saldutti earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from SUNY Brockport and a master’s in sport management from St. John’s University.
