Emily Maury was named Columbia Athletics Development and Alumni Relations Assistant in August 2018. She was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics Development and Alumni Relations in July of 2022.
In her role, Maury is responsible for implementing, organizing and supporting Athletics Alumni events with a specific focus on creating and enacting strategy for Young Alumni engagement. She also coordinates strategic reporting and analytics for the unit.
Additionally, she is a part of Columbia's We Roar Together initiative for diversity, racial justice, equality and inclusion.
Prior to joining the Columbia Athletics’ Development department, Maury served as a Leadership & Education Programs intern at the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality (RISE) in 2017 and as an intern at Facing History and Ourselves in 2016.
Maury graduated from Columbia University in 2018 with a degree in psychology and concentration in human rights.
