Katie Rudolph is in her first season as an assistant coach on the Columbia women's golf staff. She was hired in March of 2024 and has over 20 years of experience working in the sport of golf.
In her role, Rudolph will assist with all aspects of the program, including swing instruction, indoor practice planning and assisting head coach Amy Weeks with all recruiting activities.Â
Rudolph was the head men's and women's golf coach at NYU from 2021-23. Under her watch, the NYU men and women each won the Liberty League Championship in 2022 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The women then repeated as champions and earned another NCAA bid in 2023.
Prior to becoming NYU’s head coach, Rudolph was the Chief Operating Officer for the First Tee of Metropolitan New York.  At First Tee, for over a decade, Rudolph oversaw operations of the largest First Tee chapter in the United States and led all instruction and programming for 550 participants at the Newark, New Jersey facility.Â
Among her many accomplishments as an instructor and coach, Rudolph has been Megha Ganne’s private coach since 2012. Ganne finished as the low amateur at the 2021 U.S. Women’s Open and is a four-time Augusta Women’s National Amateur competitor. Now a sophomore at Stanford, Ganne has many accolades that include the Curtis Cup, Jr. Solheim and Jr. Ryder Cup.
Rudolph was a four-year standout at Wake Forest and a four-year recipient of the Rex H. Carter Golf Scholarship. She resides in New York City and the Berkshires of Massachusetts with her wife, Jen, and two dogs, Archie and Winnie. Â
