Kelly Harris begins her first year with Columbia Athletics as its Financial and Procurement Analyst. She joined the athletic department in September after working one year with Global Brands Group and five years with the New York Mets as a ticket fulfillment representative.

She served two years in the Manhattan College Athletics Department (2016-18) in two different capacities. In 2017-18, she worked in the business operations department, where she was responsible for monthly budget reports, handled requests from coaches, officials and athletic department administrators, was responsible for check deposits, handled purchase orders for all personnel and managed ticketing for women’s and men’s basketball games. In 2016-17, she worked as a facilities and events intern, where she was responsible for hiring and training of events staff personnel, served as on-site event supervisor for Jaspers’ athletic events, was the main point of contact for the women’s basketball, women’s volleyball and women’s lacrosse teams, and oversaw over 90 student assistants during the year.

Prior to her stint at Manhattan College, Harris gained experience as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Western Connecticut State (2016-17), membership services representative at Club Fit (2014-18), intern in the Springfield Community College athletic department (2013-14), club administrator and girl’s lacrosse coach with the Yorktown Bomber Lacrosse Club (2010-14) and floor manager for the Yorktown Sports Barn sporting goods retail store (2008-15).

A 2014 graduate of Springfield College (Mass.) with a bachelor of science degree in Sports Management, Harris went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree at Manhattan College in May 2018.
