Funesto joined Columbia as an office assistant at the Milstein Family Tennis Center in November of 2025.
Funesto arrives at Columbia after serving as a Game Day Operations Manager with Brooklyn FC, where she oversaw staffing, scheduling, vendor coordination, and internal reporting while managing large-scale event operations. She previously held event and operations roles at CityPickle at Wollman Rink, Wollman Rink NYC, and the United States Tennis Association during the US Open.
A graduate of New York University, Funesto earned her Master of Science in Sports Business after completing her undergraduate degree in business administration at Dominican University of California.
