Maggie Brown joined the Columbia Lacrosse program as an assistant coach in August of 2025.
Brown comes from Princeton, where she was an assistant coach for the 2024 season. She helped lead the Tigers to a 16-4 record, and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers won two games in the big dance before losing to #1 North Carolina.
A four year attacker at Southern California, Brown graduated in 2024 following a career where she played in 57 games and tallied a total of 118 points on 95 goals and 23 assists. She really took off over her junior and senior seasons, scoring 77 goals and adding 17 assists over her final 36 games for the Trojans.
A two-time second-team Pac-12 All-Conference selection, Brown garnered both of those honors over her final two seasons while also earning Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll honors in 2024. She also had postseason performances of note in 2023 and 2024, earning Pac-12 All-Tournament Team honors both years.
Off the field, she worked with First Class Lacrosse in 2023 and coached with Minnesota Elite Lacrosse from 2018-22.
An Eden Prairie, Minn. native, Brown was a U.S. Lacrosse All-American and two-time state champion in high school for Eden Prairie where she also played ice hockey.
Brown graduated from USC in 2024 with a degree in communication.
