Matt Hall is the Director of Camps for Columbia Athletics.
He previously served as an assistant coach for Columbia women's swimming for one year. A nine-time NCAA Division I All-American as a student-athlete, Hall joined the Lions after spending the previous two years coaching Asphalt Green United Aquatics and as a volunteer assistant with the LIU women’s swimming program.
In addition to working with Asphalt Green the previous two years, Hall spent 2012-18 as a club coach for the Wilton Y Wahoos. He has helped produce five YMCA National Championship teams, five Olympic Trials qualifiers and 25 Junior Nationals qualifiers.
An accomplish student-athlete himself at the University of Tennessee, Hall’s accolades include winning the 1997 Southeastern Conference title in the 500-yard freestyle, helping the Volunteers to a fourth-place team finish at the 1998 NCAA Championships, as well as holding the varsity team record in the 400 IM from 1997-2004. Hall also is a five-time Olympic Trials qualifier.
A 2001 graduate of Tennessee, Hall holds a bachelor’s degree in communications.
