Prior to arriving at Columbia, Calderon spent nearly a year with Brooklyn FC. She initially served as an operations intern before becoming the club's Head Equipment Manager in June 2025. With Brooklyn FC, Calderon managed and tracked equipment inventory, maintained and organized equipment storage areas and worked with coaches to meet team needs. She also assisted with game-day operations and supported the club during away matches.
Prior to her time in Brooklyn, Calderon spent more than two years as an Equipment Manager with the Syracuse University football program. In that role, she worked alongside coaches and student-athletes during practices and games, prepared equipment for practices and game days and handled the daily distribution of equipment.
Calderon also gained professional sports operations experience as an intern with ProCamps in Cincinnati during the summer of 2024. She helped operate youth sports camps for professional athletes across the country, coordinating travel, hotels and meals while assisting with on-site activities and volunteer recruitment.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Calderon earned her bachelor's degree in sport management from the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics. She also completed a minor in Spanish and was an 1870 Scholar recipient.
