
Volleyball Falls To Tulsa

CHICAGO, ILL. - Columbia railed back in the third game, but could not take it to four, falling to Tulsa 3-0 in the first game of the Loyola Invitational. Columbia is now 0-4 on the season.
The Lions started off slow, losing the first game 30-14. Columbia began to pick up speed in the second game, falling 30-20. The Lions tried to rally in the last game, falling just short, losing 30-28.
Sophomore Natalie Gerling and first-year Amalia Viti led the team with eight kills apiece. Junior Nikki Learned and first-year Ashley Kim both had eight digs to lead the team on defense.
The Lions will compete in the second day of the Loyola Invitational, facing the hosting Ramblers at 1 p.m. and Manhattan at 6 p.m.
