Men's Tennis Wins Hard-Fought Battle at Texas-Arlington, 4-3

ARLINGTON, TEXAS - The match took eight hours to complete, but in the end it was worth the wait for the Lions, as Columbia defeated the University of Texas-Arlington 4-3 to improve to 8-1 on the season.
Due to rain, the match started outdoors and moved indoors. The Lions started off on the right foot, sweeping doubles and giving the Mavs their first lost doubles' point. Jimmy and Marty Moore won at #1 doubles, 8-6 and Paul Ratchford and Scott Robbin won at #2, 8-4 and Dan Urban and Jared Drucker won at #3 by the same score.
The Lions picked up wins at #4 and #5 singles to take the lead, but Jimmy Moore clinched the match at #2, winning 7-6, 4-6, 6-4.
Marty Moore won at #3 6-3, 6-3 and Jared Drucker picked up the crucial victory at #5, 6-2, 6-4.
