INTRODUCTION TO FITNESS AND WELLNESS
The students will learn about the fitness components of wellness; flexibility, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength and endurance, and body composition. Fitness and other positive life style habits that lead to better health, improved quality of life, and total well-being will be discussed. Students will be responsible for developing a self-paced fitness program that will be followed for the duration of the semester.
