Lightweight Rowing’s Varsity Four Earns Gold at EARC Sprints; 2V8 Wins Third Final

Heavyweight Second Varsity Eight crew was victorious in Third Final
WORCESTER, Mass. — Columbia lightweight rowing's Varsity Four won the Grand Final with a time of 6:57.679 on Sunday to highlight the Lions' racing at the 79th annual Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond.
The lightweight Second Varsity Eight was also victorious, taking home victory in the Petite Final at 6:15.675. Columbia's lightweight Varsity Eight picked up a third place finish in the Petite Final, sprinting through Navy at the end.
The heavyweight Second Varsity Eight pulled out a win at 6:01.941 in the Third Final, defeating Holy Cross and Georgetown. Columbia's heavyweight Varsity Eight reached the Petite Final and posted a time of 5:44.807.
