London Reception to Kick Off Lions' Appearance at Henley Regatta

NEW YORK – Join the Columbia Alumni Association, Director of Athletics M. Dianne Murphy, Head Coach Mike Zimmer, and members of the Columbia University Club of London for an evening of cheer and celebration overlooking the majestic River Thames.
All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to this special reception in conjunction with the 2008 Columbia Heavyweight Rowing team's appearance at the Henley Royal Regatta.
It will be the Lions' fifth appearance at Henley in the past 25 years, but the first for the heavyweight eight. Columbia was represented by a heavyweight four in 1985, by men's lightweight eights in 1998 and 2000, and by a lightweight four in 2003.
Columbia is slated to compete between July 2-6 at Henley with the schedule of races to be determined in the days just prior to competition.
RSVP for the alumni reception online by June 28th is required.
