Updated Information for Fans Attending Lightweight Rowing's Race on Sunday, April 25

NEW YORK -- Columbia lightweight rowing's race on Sunday, April 25 for the Subin Cup vs. Dartmouth at Orchard Beach Lagoon is on as scheduled for an 8:48 a.m. start.
The Bronx Biathlon starts on Sunday at 8 a.m. with a 2.8 mile run, before a 20 mile bike ride, and another 2.8 mile run. The race starts from the parking lot for Orchard Beach Lagoon, but fans may have to park further away than usual.
It is likely that access to the parking lot will be restricted from 8:15 a.m. until 8:45 a.m., due to bikers starting their ride out to the Hutch loop.
Fans attending Sunday's regatta are strongly encouraged to arrive at the Orchard Beach parking lot before 8:15 a.m. or else there is a risk of missing the first race. The Hutchinson River Parkway will be closed from about 8:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. for this race to plan your arrival accordingly by taking the I-95.

Take the Cross Bronx Expressway/New England Thruway/95 North from Manhattan to exit 8B (Shore Road)
Follow
Shore Road Northeast until you turn right (the first exit on the
roundabout) on Orchard Beach Road (2nd intersection on Shore Rd).
Take Orchard Beach Road until you turn left on Park Dr. and follow Park Dr. until the parking lots for Orchard Beach Park
