NEW YORK – The Columbia tennis programs will serve as host of the 2014 USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships Nov. 6-9 at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Parking
Visitors and spectators are invited to attend and are requested to park in Parking Lot D & E accessible through Perimeter Road and adjacent to the Indoor Training Center and the East Gate Entrance. 

Directions
From Manhattan
Take the RFK Bridge (formerly Triborough) to the Grand Central Parkway East. Exit the Grand Central Parkway East at Exit 9E - I‐678/RT‐25A East/Northern Boulevard East. Stay to the left and follow to the Van Wyck Expressway South. Exit the Van Wyck Expressway South at Exit 12A - College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Parking.

From Brooklyn (Option 1)
Take the Brooklyn‐Queens Expressway (BQE/I‐278) East to the Grand Central Parkway East. Exit the Grand Central Parkway East at Exit 9E - I‐678/ RT ‐25A East/Northern Boulevard East. Take the RT‐25A East/Northern Boulevard East exit ramp toward the Mets' Stadium. At the 1st traffic light off the exit ramp, make a right onto Shea Road. Follow signs to Parking.

From Brooklyn (Option 2)
Take the Jackie Robinson Parkway to the Van Wyck Expressway North. Exit the Van Wyck Expressway at Exit 12A. Continue straight on to College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Parking.

From Long Island
Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE/I‐495) West to Exit 22B - College Point Blvd. At first light, make a right on College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Parking.

From Connecticut /Westchester (Option 1)
Take I‐95 to the Whitestone Bridge to the Whitestone Expressway South. Stay to the left and take the Van Wyck Expressway. Exit the Van Wyck Expressway South at Exit 12A - College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Parking.

From Connecticut /Westchester (Option 2)
Take I‐95 to the Throgs Neck Bridge to I‐295/ Clearview Expressway South. Exit I‐295/ Clearview Expressway South at Exit 4 - Long Island Expressway (LIE/I‐495) West. Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE/I‐495) West to Exit 22B - College Point Blvd. At the first light, make a right on College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Parking.

From Northern New Jersey (Option 1)
Take the George Washington Bridge to the Harlem River Drive, then to the RFK Bridge (formerly Triborough). Follow "FROM MANHATTAN" directions above.

From Northern New Jersey (Option 2)
Take the George Washington Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway, then to the Whitestone Bridge. Take the Whitestone Expressway South. Stay to the left and take the Van Wyck Expressway. Exit the

Van Wyck Expressway South at Exit 12A - College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Parking.

From Southern New Jersey
Take the Verrazzano Bridge to the Brooklyn‐ Queens Expressway (I‐278) East to the Grand Central Parkway East. Follow "FROM BROOKLYN (OPTION #1)" directions above.

Scene Setter
No-ad scoring will be used in all singles and doubles matches. Doubles matches will be two out of three sets, with a Match Tiebreak in lieu of the third set. 

Selections
In both the men's and women's brackets 32 players will compete on the singles court and 20 pairs will play in the doubles draw.

The 12 Division I USTA/ITA Regional Champions held across the country gain automatic entry into the tournament as well as the winners of the USTA/ITA National Small College Super Bowl, singles quarterfinalists from the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships, singles semifinalists from the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships and consolation championships and doubles finalists from both All-American events.

School Representation
The 2014 edition of the USTA/ITA NIIC will see 26 different colleges and universities in the men's singles draw. Women hailing from 20 different schools will take the court in the singles draw with California, Florida, Virginia and North Carolina leading the way with three players each. Three schools have two singles players in the women's field. 

Draws
The culmination of the fall college tennis season will feature a 32-player singles draw and a 20-team doubles draw for both men and women. 

To Be the Best, You Have to Bet the Best
The men's singles field competing for the ITA's final national title of the fall showcases will see eight of the Top 10 players from the ITA Division I Men's Preseason Singes Rankings. On the women's side, six of the Top 10 players from the ITA Division I Women's Preseason Singles Rankings. 

Where to Watch
Players, coaches and spectators are invited to watch all matches from the viewing platform located on the second floor of the Indoor Tennis Center. During the Finals on Sunday, Nov. 9 seating will be available on Court 8. Entry to the seating area is accessible through the first floor court entrance.

Awards
Following the conclusion of the finals on Sunday, Nov. 9 the singles, doubles and consolation championss along with the finalist will be presented a trophy on the court for their play at the 2014 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships.
